This weekend retreat is designed to be a unique pagan experience. It is a time set aside to spend with like minded people, getting back in touch with nature & the elements in the gorgeous surroundings of the Southern Highlands in Autumn.
If you’ve been to pagan residential weekend gatherings in the past, you may have experienced events which are focussed on magick, ritual or multiple workshops over the limited time in a weekend. These weekend events can leave you exhilarated and inspired, however drained and needing a holiday once you get home again!
This retreat is designed to break the common mould of the usual expectations that one holds when thinking of a ‘Pagan Gathering’. The Autumn Retreat: Back to Basics event is about relaxation, reflection and enjoying gourmet food whilst subtly weaving in experiential elemental activities focussed around the things that we commonly do in our everyday lives.

The organisers also promote a support of ‘sustainable community’. From a practical perspective, this means that we will spend our money in the local community – ie our caterer will source as much of our food & produce over the weekend from local suppliers, in and around the Southern Highlands. We hire local transport to visit a regional winery and sample local handmade organic cheese to accompany our wine tasting. This general region thrives on tourist dollar spending and we will be sure to support the local economy this way.
The underlying premise is to get back to basics whilst enjoying the seasonal environment. Share that common goal with good food, good company in a relaxed environment, and magick can happen.

This is an adults only 18yrs+ event and is suitable for anyone on their pagan path who is looking for a retreat style weekend away. The weekend will be focussed around delicious food and wine. The cost of the wine tasting and transport to and from the winery will be included in your ticket price.
